Kabir lives in Nelson, BC, Canada, where he and his partner Mirabai are long-time members of a rural cohousing community. Having retired from a career in university administration, Kabir now devotes his life to sharing the practices that have been foundational in his own spiritual life: music, contemplation, Dances of Universal Peace, Zikr, chanting, Sufi Sesshins, mentoring, guiding, ceremonies and rituals, friendship, kindness, facilitation, and various forms of service. Almost all in partnership with his Beloved Mirabai. Mostly in their local community, some virtual, with occasional travel. With deep gratitude for the Sufi path and many teachers.
